POLS by Elisabet Prandi | Spain (2024)

Pols, so small and fragile, are much more than mere particles floating in the air. It is strength, drive, and the constant rhythm of a heart beating with untamed energy.

This very concept is reflected in the mythical water women, mysterious beings tied to a nature that is both wild and captivating. Among hidden pools, roaring waterfalls, and perpetually flowing waters, they have found their place… or perhaps only a part of it.

For the water women live divided between two realities: the world they know and the world they long for. They dream of different horizons, where everything is seen through a new lens, free from the definitions that confine them. This tension, this duality, lies at the heart of their conflict: to accept the rules of a world they did not choose or to yield to the magnetism of the unknown, which draws them with an irresistible force.

It is a dance, a subtle struggle between acceptance and desire, between the stillness of the familiar and the unsettling promise of freedom. The water women do not merely exist; they question, dream, and redefine themselves within this fragile balance that makes them as human as they are magical.
