One morning, Blanc and August wake up and realize that something has changed. The world they once knew has disappeared. The acrobats, the elephants, the circus. Nothing is left. The two clowns then begin a walk through this strange, empty space. But they can’t manage to get along.

Director statement
The narrative focuses on the relational dynamic between the two clowns, exploring the duality of these two archetypes. It highlights their need to be together, yet their inability to truly understand each other.

Their steps are paced by their inner voices.  It is based on a short story I wrote, which served as the starting point for the images.

This project was carried out as part of my Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, between February and June 2025.
