A reflection on nostalgia and video portraiture: a journey that begins with what I was, flows into what I am, and circles back to what I once again become. A surreal video-performance where the dreamlike and absurd take over the screen, inviting us to reconstruct meanings and senses.

Bio

Born in 1989, Mexico, Horacio Quezada Sandoval (Lacho) is an audiovisual and performing artist. He works professionally as an editor, acting director, and stage designer for theater. His work explores the hybrid space between theater and cinema. By combining audiovisual language with elements of theatrical staging, he invites audiences to question the boundaries of performance.

He holds a degree in Audiovisual Filmmaking (Guadalajara) and completed his training with a master’s degree from the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). His works, such as the video installation Impulso de Lear, the video performance

Desayuno con Pelícanos, and the short film Proscenio, have been presented at festivals in Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, and the United States.
