LIFE FULL OF HOLES by Jeannette Castioni
Italy, UK, Iceland (2021)

“Life full of holes” compares through the chronicle of migrants’ memories and their translations, pathways to depart from “data” organization allowing instead imaginative action and reaction practices to emerge. The unfolding of the piece goes toward an interpretative line, where the ultimate longing is to unsettle the viewer and create an open-ended storyline. The cross description of the natural realm, and human narratives, is actualized by overlapping diversified informational routes and agendas.

The friction between what stands behind subjects’ narratives compared with documentation about animal hunter is revealing forces between layers of experiences, able to unlock the potential of subjects’ imaginative projections and their indeterminacy.

Pebbles Underground is focused on showcasing and promoting experimental, avant-garde, underground, and no-to-low budget projects by artist-humans from all over the world. Absurd, uncanny, witty, humorous, slow-video – all are welcomed, and loved. Pebbles Underground is an independent project not funded by any government or corporation, and we intend to keep it that way. Main source of funding is personal donations from humans organizing the project, who are artists themselves, and the main drive of the project is formed by the energy and involvement of the organizers, and the public.
