film and video art
An audiovisual poem about writing and the creation of dreamlike poetic universes, freely inspired by the work of Argentine author Alejandra Pizarnik (1936-1972).
Using the analogy of weaving, the piece explores a form of writing that doesn’t operate solely with abstract and disembodied ideas. Instead, it’s rooted in the body’s sensory experience, involving even the most subtle expressions. To weave a poem is to link letters together little by little, while the hands that write discreetly express that revolution of the intimate. The entire body participates when it comes to weaving one’s own voice, in a process that isn’t afraid to navigate fear and unease.
Letters are interwoven to form a lyrical world whose sounds and imagery freely evoke some of the recurrent themes in Pizarnik’s work, such as the shadow and red death. The two attract and repel each other, ultimately giving way to the body that writes and dreams poetry.

Pebbles Underground is focused on showcasing and promoting experimental, avant-garde, underground, and no-to-low budget projects by artist-humans from all over the world. Absurd, uncanny, witty, humorous, slow-video – all are welcomed, and loved. Pebbles Underground is an independent project not funded by any government or corporation, and we intend to keep it that way. Main source of funding is personal donations from humans organizing the project, who are artists themselves, and the main drive of the project is formed by the energy and involvement of the organizers, and the public.
