Image and mind are intertwined. But where does the zoomed in photo stand? If the screen was a reflection of our mind’s representations, what would memories look like? How would they get decoded and encoded? The Zoomed in Photo is an attempt to represent similarities between the zoomed in photo and memories off the human mind.
Director Bio
Simay is an independent filmmaker based in Istanbul and London. They will be continuing their studies at Goldsmiths College of London, focusing on experimental fiction filmmaking as well as non-linear experimental film. They are interested in challenging conventional filmmaking techniques while they get influenced by artists in different media.
