“POPPY SHIRT (OD MAKA KOSULJA, OD SVILE RUKAVI)” (00:14:13) by Svetlana Djurovic, Serbia, 2022

The dance film ~ POPPY SHIRT~ is a research and performance film, which in the form of a contemporary dance expression deals with the restructuring of traditional dances of the Slovenian/Balkan habitus, and their placement in the contemporary dance vocabulary, and vice versa. This is a retrograde dance on the edges of cultural heritage and contemporary stampede.
