film and video art
Sound effects add a layer of complexity to movies.
But could a motion picture be made solely with sound effects and nothing visual at all?
Imagine the story that sound effects are telling as you watch this film.
Director Statement
Shooting and editing films can be a time-consuming and tedious process. And attempting to convey a story visually can be challenging.
One day (while working out at a gym of all places) I wondered if one could create a cinematic story told only through the use of sound effects and where the only visual elements were words describing the sound effects on-screen, much in the way that subtitles are used in films. Each audience member would be called upon to use his or her imagination to create a “personal vision” of the story the filmmaker was attempting to convey.
After sketching out the “scenes” for “Imagine This: A Story Told With Sound Effects,” I sourced sound effects that fit the story line, and then pieced them altogether.

Pebbles Underground is focused on showcasing and promoting experimental, avant-garde, underground, and no-to-low budget projects by artist-humans from all over the world. Absurd, uncanny, witty, humorous, slow-video – all are welcomed, and loved. Pebbles Underground is an independent project not funded by any government or corporation, and we intend to keep it that way. Main source of funding is personal donations from humans organizing the project, who are artists themselves, and the main drive of the project is formed by the energy and involvement of the organizers, and the public.
