Aussie Esto Third Gen is a short documentary directed by Imbi Männik. The film explores the unique cultural identity of a third-generation Australian Estonian (Imbi Männik) growing up in Adelaide, South Australia, offering a candid glimpse into an individual’s (Imbi Männik’s) experiences.

Director’s statement

Being both an Artist and a Social Worker, I have a passion for all things creative and social justice, an interest in understanding human behaviour and a curiosity to learn what makes people tick. By combining these backgrounds, I hope to bring an authentic, human-centric approach to aspects of filmmaking, whether it’s through directing, writing, or acting.
