The characters are outsiders, outcasts, urban nomads, those who oppose mainstream communities. They are wandering throughout Mediterranean suburbs and deviant spaces looking for a monastery of their own. A game of fusions is a ritual performed in order to radiate a common sense of individuality without a formal frame.

Only a game can follow dynamics intuitively, only a game of fusion can lead us to the unknown, to the transparent future. A game with no rules. A play meant to follow our daydreams and to observe ourselves. The film is simply a way to exist – it is a game of presence.
Director’s statement
The goal is to rediscover Mediterranean spaces as a common shelter. Identity is no longer a static figure. It is a free construct changing in real-time. My goal is to follow those changes and to convert this experience into visual arts. The characters are somewhere on edge between vagabonds and performers. They are dancing on the ashes of their past. Art is a certain territory of freedom, a territory where an artist together with a spectator can create a model, and later render that model into a new reality.

Pebbles Underground is focused on showcasing and promoting experimental, avant-garde, underground, and no-to-low budget projects by artist-humans from all over the world. Absurd, uncanny, witty, humorous, slow-video – all are welcomed, and loved. Pebbles Underground is an independent project not funded by any government or corporation, and we intend to keep it that way. Main source of funding is personal donations from humans organizing the project, who are artists themselves, and the main drive of the project is formed by the energy and involvement of the organizers, and the public.
